Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the tasty and mouth-watering Philly sandwiches for Pepperjax Grill's ad campaign, "How Do You Philly?" The photos were used for social media and print advertising and helped promote the delicious and authentic flavor combinations of Pepperjax's Philly sandwiches. I also had the pleasure to work with the incredible team at Bailey Lauerman, Not Pictured, Pepperjax and Film Crew on a 30 second Food Feature that was incredibly fun!

I had an incredible time photographing The Surety Hotel by Aparium's restaurant concept in Des Moines, Iowa. Working with the Aparium staff and models was a dream, and their passion for their craft was evident in every detail.

As a photographer, I focused on storytelling by playing with light and shadow to emphasize the time and place of this incredible location. Our goal was to create a moody and emotive vibe, using contrast to bring out the best in the lifestyle photos and long exposures to showcase the stunning exterior.

Photographing the guest room at Deco Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska, was a lot of fun. The room is beautifully designed and easy to be in, with great light and thoughtful details that make it enjoyable to shoot. I focused on keeping the images natural and straightforward, capturing how the space actually feels rather than over-stylizing it.

Land and Lore is offers organic skin products for men. Owner Mark Hasebroock and the Secret Penguin team were so fun to work with on this shoot. I built the set in house using plants from a local business called Mulhalls and Trees provided by Bench. The lighting approach was to shift the lighting as if you were passing slowly through the day. The styling inspiration came from the idea of walking through a forest near the coastline. As you ventured the light changes on the forest floor, soon sand is introduced as you move closer to the ocean.

Shot at Percheron, the rooftop bar at The Crossroads Hotel in Kansas City. Great cocktails, solid food, and a view that pulls you in. We had a fun time capturing the weekend energy up there, focusing on the relaxed, social feel and the way the space comes alive as the city stretches out below.

I had the pleasure of working with Dundee Bank on a campaign focused on the local small business community. I had so much fun meeting their clients and hearing their stories.
