We took a different approach with this photo shoot with Hazel. The first photo was inspired by a story Hazel’s mother read to them. The boat was actually a bookshelf they had that was shaped like a row boat. We photographed them in the backyard and I composed the rest of the images with photos of a sky I took during a storm and stocks photo assets to create a dream like image. Hazel was a joy to work with and their family is also incredibly creative. We took a photo of them in a nest also with the shadow of a crane on the ground. I have been friends with the Walmsley Family for a while and absolutely love them. We went out to a park and ran around taking some fun photos along the way. They brought their daughters favorite frog costume so we decided to have some fun with that. I photographed her in the park and composed the first image using photographs of skies I have taken along with stock images. The photo of them with the flashlight was also taken in the park and composed to look like they were on an adventure at night slightly inspired by the stranger things series.
